  • 1. Electrical issue:

    • Cigarette lighter providing 14.7v, causing overvoltage and battery replacement every 6-8 months

  • 2. Drive train/Computer issue:

    • Drive train issues before 60,000 miles, diagnosed as a computer issue requiring parts that were on backorder. GM also experienced similar issues with the same parts

  • 3. Safety feature issue:

    • Tailgate opening unexpectedly multiple times while stationary, in reverse, and in forward motion

  • 4. Fire hazard:

    • Vehicle caught on fire while parked in residential yard, fire came from under the center area of the hood. Manufacturer was made aware but did not assist. No injuries reported.

  • 5. Recall issue:

    • Notification for NHTSA Campaign Number 21V090000 (Visibility) received, parts for recall repair were unavailable, exceeding a reasonable amount of time for the repair. Vehicle had not experienced a failure related to the recall.
