Complaints and Common Faults

  • 1. Engine issues:

    • Blown motor. Bad lifters and valves. Exhaust temperature sensor check engine light. No warranty, I had to replace entire engine at my cost of $15,000
    • Driving on freeway at 75 m.P.H. (speed limit 75) the motor stalled and would not restart. After tow to the dealership, found out it was malfunctioning egt exhaust sensor.
    • Engine logo light came on; then red sign came on "stop safely now". Engine stopped. Diagnosed as bad number 8 cylinder injector causing heat sensor malfunction. Later found a recall for faulty heat sensors.

  • 2. Electrical issues:

    • No turn signals, brake, or four way/emergency lights on fifth wheel when towing.

  • 3. Steering issues:

    • Steering wheel shaking abnormally at high speeds, repaired multiple times but failure recurs.

  • 4. Fuel system issues:

    • Engine lost power and steering seized, dealer stated fuel was contaminated and fuel system needed replacement.

  • 5. Suspension issues:

    • Experienced death wobble, uncontrollable steering at 45-50 mph.

  • 6. Mechanical failure:

    • While driving at 45 mph on a highway the engine blew up due to a faulty glow plug causing connecting rod to break.
